Students in both 4th and 5th grade will be given rigorous content as well as learn to stretch their thinking. We will cover content and learn new strategies that will apply to both school and home. Some learning strategies we will use in AIG this year include: Metephorical Thinking, Problem Solving, Comparing and Contrasting, Higher Order Thinking, and Graduated Difficulty.

Nominations will only be accepted during the tracks window.
IMPORTANT: Students can only test to advance in 1 subject area. (Math or ELA) Students who advance will most likely have daily schedule interruptions from peers. Once students are accelerated they will remain on that trajectory each year. Nomination forms must be turned in by the end of day on the last date in the nomination window for each track. AIG scheduleService delivery and schedule can be found by going to either Mrs. Greene's or Mrs. Seder's individual tab!
All AIG students will receive a combination of pull out small group services as well as in class collaborative teaching practices with both the classroom and AIG teacher. If you have any questions regarding services or schedule please contact Mrs. Greene or Mrs. Seder anytime! |
